Blyth Town Council brings you a year-round calendar of free, vibrant events designed to unite the community and celebrate the best of Blyth! Our exciting program, curated by the Community Development Committee, features something for everyone—whether you're a music lover, a festival-goer, or simply looking for family-friendly fun.

Major highlights include:

• Easter Festival – A fun-filled day in Ridley Park with activities for all ages!

• Blyth Live Music Festival (June) – A must-see event featuring fantastic live performances and an electric atmosphere.

• Town Carnival (July) – A parade of colour, creativity, and community spirit!

• Fireworks at the Beach (November) – A spectacular fireworks display lighting up the Blyth coastline.

• Festive Lights On (December) – A magical start to the holiday season with twinkling lights and festive cheer.

 Plus, don’t miss smaller events like Media Day, Sandcastle building, and much more! With over 50,000 attendees annually,                                                                                                          Blyth’s event program continues to expand, and 2025 will see the exciting return of the Quayside Festival to mark VE Day’s 80th anniversary.
